World at Hand Study Abroad Scholarship: Spring 2025

This $500 scholarship is intended to help Denver's low-income and underrepresented students overcome the financial barriers of studying abroad and gain equal access to international education.

Requirements:

Graduated from a Denver or Aurora Public High School
Qualify for a Federal Pell Grant (SAI 19,999 or below)
- Priority is given to students with Maximum Pell Grants (SAI -1500-0)
Identify as an underrepresented student
GPA (cumulative) 2.5 or GPA: 3.0+ from previous semester
Have been accepted/have applied to an in-person study abroad program.

Fall Applications due: November 15th, 2024

Scholarship recipients are invited to complete a social media takeover day while abroad, write/record a post-travel reflection, and stay involved with World at Hand through our Student Ambassadors Program.
