NGBH Hands-On Pruning Workshop
Saturday, June 18, 9AM-12PM
NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL AS OF 11AM ON 6/08. PLEASE SUBMIT THIS FORM ONLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST. If we are able to offer another session of this workshop, we will give priority to those waitlisted. EMAIL NGBH if you have any questions.
Mary Roper, garden manager at the Asticou Azalea Garden in Northeast Harbor for the past 30 years, will lead a summer pruning workshop at the NGBH gardens. She will focus on pruning for health and a naturalistic aesthetic suitable for both ornamental and native woody plants in the garden landscape. Learn appropriate timing for different types of pruning and considerations for form and landscape objectives. Bring your favorite pruning tools to try out what you have learned.
This hands-on program costs $20 and is limited to 10 participants. NGBH has a limited number of scholarships if that is a prohibitive factor. Use this form to register; spots will be confirmed within 24 hours of form submission. Payment instructions and further details will be sent to confirmed participants ahead of the event.
