
Register for the 2023 FROSTY 40
Get outdoors this winter to refresh your soul by joining Carpenter Nature Center’s Frosty 40 winter challenge. We challenge you to walk, run, cross-country ski or snowshoe 40 miles in 40 days. The 40 days do not need to be consecutive. Choose your own schedule between January 1 and March 20, 2023.
Registration opens December 1, 2022
The last day to register is February 1, 2023
This year we are offering three different options.
- $40 per adult or $20 per K-12 student- includes running belt
- $50 per adult or $25 per K-12 student - includes Frosty 40 long-sleeve shirt
- $60 per adult or $30 per K-12 student - includes running belt AND Frosty 40 long-sleeve shirt
The fee covers merchandise, shipping if you're unable to pick-up, and a $30 donation. The $30 donation is tax-deductible. Registrants will receive ‘Friends of CNC’ benefits for the next year. This includes receiving free snowshoe rentals and free/reduced fees for programs.
If you want to forego the running belt or long-sleeve shirt, the entire regisrations fee is tax-deductible. Running belts and long-sleeve shirts will be available mid-February, to be picked up at CNC or will be mailed to you if you are not able to come to CNC.
All proceeds support environmental education programming and habitat conservation.
