Register for the 2023 FROSTY 40

Get outdoors this winter to refresh your soul by joining Carpenter Nature Center’s Frosty 40 winter challenge. We challenge you to walk, run, cross-country ski or snowshoe 40 miles in 40 days. The 40 days do not need to be consecutive. Choose your own schedule between January 1 and March 20, 2023.

Registration opens December 1, 2022

The last day to register is February 1, 2023

This year we are offering three different options.

  • $40 per adult or $20 per K-12 student- includes running belt
  • $50 per adult or $25 per K-12 student - includes Frosty 40 long-sleeve shirt
  • $60 per adult or $30 per K-12 student - includes running belt AND Frosty 40 long-sleeve shirt

The fee covers merchandise, shipping if you're unable to pick-up, and a $30 donation. The $30 donation is tax-deductible. Registrants will receive ‘Friends of CNC’ benefits for the next year. This includes receiving free snowshoe rentals and free/reduced fees for programs.

If you want to forego the running belt or long-sleeve shirt, the entire regisrations fee is tax-deductible. Running belts and long-sleeve shirts will be available mid-February, to be picked up at CNC or will be mailed to you if you are not able to come to CNC.

All proceeds support environmental education programming and habitat conservation.

In consideration of your acceptance of my entry fee, I hereby for myself, heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge any organization associated with the event, CNC staff, volunteers, any and all sponsors including their agents, employees, or anyone acting on their behalf, from any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of, or in the course of, my participating in this event.I know I should not enter this event unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control to protect the safety of participants. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.
