Pet Guardian Academy - Winter 2020 (Feb-Mar)

Children ages 7-12 will learn all it takes to responsibly care for a cat or dog. Each session builds upon knowledge learned in previous sessions, and includes fun games, and hands on activities and projects to teach about the importance of daily care, safe interaction, positive reinforcment training techniques and more. Students finish this 6 week course with a certificate declaring their Pet Guardian status.

Does your child have any special accommodations?

Every effort is made to accommodate children with special needs, including children with behavioral challenges. Parents/guardians of children who need special attention or have behavioral challenges must notify us of the issue in the “special accommodations” section of the online registration form. Education staff are trained to manage many common health and behavioral disorders; however, children with severe behavioral disorders that may continuously interfere with or disrupt the programs must have an aide present.
