A fundraising event for Vermont Fresh Network

About this event:

Saturday, August 21st

Pick-up 12:00-2:00pm; stay all afternoon if you like

Stowe, VT

Join Vermont Fresh Network and indulge in a mountain top picnic in Stowe at Spruce Peak! Pick up your picnic basket full of local goodies expertly prepared by Executive Chef, Sean Blomgren, and team, consult the map for best picnic spots, and enjoy an afternoon of breathtaking views. Lounge on the green, venture into the Enchanted Forest, or meander along a trail up Spruce Peak. Picnickers will be set with all the fixings, including a special Vermont Fresh Network picnic blanket.

This is a rain or shine event!

Thank you for your support of our members and our nonprofit organization with the purchase of these tickets. Since 1996, Vermont Fresh Network has been working on behalf of Vermont's food & farm communities. Thank you for celebrating our 25th anniversary with us!

Please note: The true cost of the meal is reflected in the base ticket price. Vermont Fresh Network is requesting a minimum contribution (which includes your picnic blanket!) to support our mission to cultivate the farmer-chef-community relationship.

Thank you for your support in our 25th year

This event and unique experience was designed as a fundraiser for the Vermont Fresh Network, a member-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on charitable donations from folks who care about the local food system, our state's farmers & restaurants, and our rural economy.

Other things to know:
  • A picnic blanket is provided with your registration, but feel free to bring anything else to make your picnic comfortable.
  • The pick-up is located at The Pantry & Beanery on Spruce Peak plaza.
  • Parking is in the lot directly adjacent to the store (free).
  • Sorry, for simplicity-sake, no substitutions are available.
  • This is a rain or shine event. If it's raining or thunderstorming, please pick up your food and decide the best place to enjoy it. Apologies, we are not able to accommodate a rain date.
  • Please feel free to explore the property - enjoy the Spruce Loop and mountain trails, walk to Sterling Pond before or after your picnic, hang out on the Green, grab a creemee at the on-site creemee stand!

Attend them all!

This event is part of a small series of picnics throughout the state with Vermont Fresh Network members. Learn about the third picnic in August.

Thank you

We are so excited to share this farm-to-blanket experience with you! We greatly appreciate your support of both the Vermont Fresh Network and our member, Spruce Peak.

See you on August 21st!
