Using a new ‘rolling application’ process, the OEF will accept Grant proposals developed by professional staff in the OASD. The Special Projects Committee of the Foundation will review proposals four times each year. The Application deadlines are as follows:
Requests for funding should be consistent with the mission statement of the OASD. The requests must be reviewed, endorsed and approved by the building administrator and must be outside the budget established by the Oxford Board of School Directors. The OEF will notify successful applicants within a month of their review.
Preference will be given to proposals in the range of $250-$1,500. Pilot programs that have the potential for being replicated and incorporated into future school budgets are encouraged. No grants will be given for professional stipends. All requests must include a provision for evaluation and assessment, and a budget that would expend the entire grant by the end of the school year in which the Grant is awarded. Being a grant recipient of the Oxford Educational Foundation carries great responsibility. Please respond to the Recipient Assessment Survey as soon as possible.
