Thank you for your interest in applying for a scholarship to attend Mountain Stewards Summer Camp.
We believe it is vital for everyone, regardless of means, to have access to wild places, high-quality experiential education, and meaningful stewardship opportunities. Now more than ever our kids need camp, and in 2024 we are excited to be able to continue to extend scholarships to families in need both in West Virginia and also to those living beyond our state borders.
A limited amount of need-based scholarships is available to families to help further reduce the cost. Applications are considered on a first come first served basis and priority will be given to campers who have not previously received a scholarship.
The maximum scholarship amount is $450 for our traditional week-long camps.
If you are in need of a larger scholarship, please reach out to Erika directly using the contact info below. We require all campers to pay a $150 deposit to secure their place at camp. If you cannot pay the entire amount all at once please contact us to discuss options or to set up a payment plan.
