B2SB Volunteer Role Interest *

We're looking for volunteers to support with one or more roles. Please select a role you are interested in. We try our best to put folks in their preferred volunteer station.

Leadership Role: Be apart of the planning team (Meetings are weekly on Tuesdays 2pm)

Backpack Distribution: 10 people shifts: 12pm - 2pm | 2pm - 4pm

Book Exchange Attendant: 6 people | 2 shifts 12pm - 2pm | 2pm - 4pm

Children Activities: 4-6 activities around plaza - 10 - 12

Children Activities: Face | Nails | Henna Paintings or Water Mark Tattoos and other (PAID)

Entertainment: poet, singer, instrumental, dance, drill teams, other (PAID)

Field Clean up and break down - 15 people needed shifts:12pm - 2pm | 2pm - 4pm

Field Set up - tables, chairs, canopies, signage, misc material - 12 people needed August 24th, 9am

Field Attendants: distribute passports, support attendees - 9 people | 2 shifts 10am - 1pm | 1pm - 4pm

Food Items: hot dogs, condiments, buns, water and ice - we need enough food for 1000 halal chicken, beef

Food: shoppers - 3 people needed

Food: Concessions/Food Servers - 8 people needed 2 shifts 10am - 1pm | 1pm - 4pm

Information Booth Support: 6 people, 3 shifts 10am -12pm | 12pm - 2pm | 2pm - 4pm

Outreach: 12 people needed July 21st - August 18th

Phone Tree (calling to recruit partnerships)

Security: 6 people needed shifts 12pm - 2pm | 2pm - 4pm

Volunteer booth attendants: 9 people needed, 3 shifts 10am -12pm | 12pm - 2pm | 2pm - 4pm
