Want to join an award-winning, EPA-approved volunteer water monitoring program? The twelfth Nanticoke Creekwatchers season will kick-off on Saturday, March 16 at the Baldcypress Nature Center at Trap Pond State Park. (See https://goo.gl/maps/Tuc1s9VuwRr for a map and directions.) We are particularly seeking Creekwatchers in the Seaford and Sharptown/Laurel areas to adopt open sites. The training will begin promptly at 10AM and will conclude by 4PM.

Training will include a program and organization orientation, detailed protocol info, equipment usage and troubleshooting, and hands-on time with equipment in the afternoon while running through a mock Creekwatchers outing. (The afternoon session is mandatory for new Creekwatchers.)
