Thank you for joining us for our next Big GreenUp Clean-Up.
Help us GreenUp on April 23, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and stay for our after party celebration from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
Together we will clean up our beautiful public desert lands as we remove trash, debris, and invasive species to return lands to their natural state. We will meet at the designated kick off area for tools, t-shirt pick up, and further instruction.
To reach our kick off/volunteer registraion area from Phoenix take I-17 north towards Flagstaff. From the Carefree Hwy overpass go approximently 17.8 miles to the Bumble Bee Exit 248. Exit the freeway and take a left at the stop sign, then go ¼ mile to the parking lot on the west side of the road. There will be signs at entrance of parking lot. This will be a self guided clean up so it will be important to be on time for instructions.
Please wear pants and boots (or at a minimum closed toed shoes) along with perferably long sleeves, reusable water bottle, and hat/sun screen for sun protection. Reminder you will be in the desert environment which will have stickers, bugs, and other natural species so it is imporant to dress appropriately. Gloves, safety vests, tools, and water will be provided. Please join us for complimentary rereshments (including hot dogs, hamburgers, and chips) post event at the Cleator Yacht Club.
*Volunteer waivers will be provided on site and will be required to complete before volunteering. Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature, pleaes let us know ahead of time if you need a copy of the youth waiver prior to the event.
