WildPaths Tracking Immersion Application

Thanks for your interest in the WildPaths Tracking Immersion! Please use this form to apply for admission to the 2023-24 tracker cohort. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Program details here.

Program Dates: Nov 4, Dec 2, Jan 13, Feb 3, Feb 24, Mar 16, Apr 6, Apr 27 (Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), plus optional certification class May 18-19 (Saturday-Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Field locations throughout the Cold Hollow to Canada region (with the possibility of 1-2 more distant destinations in northern Vermont, to track our target species).

Snowshoes required for many program dates (they are available for loan from local libraries). Participants should be comfortable snowshoeing up to 3 miles on moderate terrain.

Participants are expected to provide all of their own gear to stay warm and safe during full winter days outdoors, walking/hiking/snowshoeing and making frequent stops to study tracks and sign. We will adjust our format, locations and indoor/outdoor split in light of extreme cold or blizzard conditions.

Open to adults. Mature teens may sign up with a parent/guardian.
