Black History Community Expo
ReDefiners World Languages, in partnership with The University Mall, proudly announces the 1st Annual Black Heritage Month Community Expo, a celebration of the past to inspire the future.
Your organization is invited to participate in a weekend of cultural enrichment through dramatic storytelling, live music by aspiring local artists, an African Dance performance, poetry slam with accompanying workshops, career, an enrichment program expo and so much more!
The objectives of the event are multifaceted; the event is intended to both educate, empower and inspire participants to expand their worldviews and become change agents in their communities.
The two-day event will feature tons of giveaways and activities for the entire family! Come for the full-weekend or plan to attend specific events throughout the weekend. This is an event you do not want to miss!
