We publish business-focused news in the Fresh Insider. This e-newsletter is received by VFN Members only. If you are interested in sharing information for a general audience, please refer to our sister site DigInVT.com
We run very brief announcements in the Fresh Insider - usually a short sentence with a link. For example:
"VFN Member X hiring for front of house staff, job description here"
"Training for submitting bids to sell local food to Vermont public schools taking place Feb 30th, 10:00am - 12:00 pm in Montpelier, registration here"
We only post job openings from current VFN members and affiliated organizations.
Fresh Insider feature stories, with resources for member businesses, usually focus on topics that complement current VFN projects and / or stories in the Fresh Feed at DigInVT. However, if you have a resource you would like our members to be aware of, please submit it here for consideration (we'll also let you know if there are other outlets that are a better option for sharing the information with the Network).
The Vermont Fresh Network is not a lobbying organization and does not have staff focused on following specific legislative proposals; we do not comment on the merits of legislation or specific government policies unless they very very directly impact our mission of connecting local farmers and chefs. We do let members know about legislation that would significantly impact them so that they may reach their own conclusions.
