Thank you for becoming a Global Sustainer! Your membership dues are charged to your debit or credit card each month and your enefits begin immediately commensurate with the level that matches the annualized value of your monthly payment. If you would like to change or pause your monthly payments, or need to update your payment information, please notify us at info@wacmaine.org.

Global Sustainer Monthly Membership Rates

$80 - Leadership Champions (Complimentary registration for two at all Council events, including the Annual Meeting, plus member pricing for two additional guests throughout the year.)

$40 - Diplomat (Member pricing for two, plus two additional guests for all Council events. Two complimentary tickets for the Annual Meeting.)

$20 - Explorers Club (Member pricing for two, plus one additional guest at all Council events. One complimentary ticket for the Annual Meeting.)

$10 - Family Traveler (Member pricing for two at all Council events)

$6 - Individual Explorer (Member pricing for one at all Council events.)

$3 - Maine Educator or Young Professional (Member pricing for one at all Council events for K-12 teachers in Maine, junior faculty at Maine's public colleges and universities, or Maine residents 35 and younger.)

The World Affairs Council of Maine facilitates the State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program in Maine. We often need volunteers to welcome delegations to their homes for lunch or to accompany them on excursions. We frequently receive requests from area schools, students, and community groups for speakers on different issues or parts of the world, as well as requests for mentoring or career advice. We also encourage our members to share their expertise with our coffee and discussion groups or through our annual Great Decisions series. If you have expertise to share, please make a note above.
