2024 Veterans Path to Hope Outdoors  Lake Michigan Fleet Expedition

This is a free fishing trip out on Lake Michigan June 15, 2024. Our trip will kick off at the Great Lakes Navy Base Marina at Noon and run until 5pm or sooner.  Food will be served at 1100 for those interested.

Access to the navy base requires a valid Military active duty, retired, dependent or 100% service connected ID card. If you do not have access then you will need to park at the Gate 1 visitors center parking lot. We will be providing regular rides onto the base, look for the VPH Outdoors volunteer drivers to catch a ride. A valid photo ID is required to get escorted on base.

** In 2024 we are requiring a $50 hold fee. This $50 will be returned to you when you show up for the trip. If you do not contact us to cancel your spot by Noon on 6/5/2024 your $50 will not be refunded and will be a donation to the program. *This trip is only available to veterans and active duty only, no guests or family for this outing, not enough space.

This policy is in effect due to the number of no-shows the past 4 years which has cost the Outdoors program over $1000. Thank you for understanding.

***Due to past 'No-show, no-call" on VPH Outdoors events, we have instituted a policy that those that "no-show, no-call" will not be eligible for VPH Outdoors events for a calendar year from date of event. "No-shoe, no-call" means another veteran could have taken part in that event. Thanks for understanding. -Ryan
