If you have the questions, your instructor has the answers! Bring all those sewing related questions to our Sewing Q & A classes and use the accompanying simple projects to practice some of your new knowledge. Each session will close with a segment for students to ask questions on anything sewing related.
This group of 4 classes will answer your questions about cutting and measuring tools used with sewing projects, why pressing is important, solving common sewing problems, and basic sewing machine maintenance. We will also be working on some quick and easy companion projects for personal practice. These will include small drawstring gift bags and a 9 patch pocket quilt. All materials will be provided from Mary’s own fabulous stash! You will need your own sewing machine and basic sewing tools.
The Dairy Barn Arts Center does not typically issue refunds for classes and workshops unless said class or workshop is canceled by the Dairy Barn. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however, if a participant becomes ill with COVID-19, the Dairy Barn will refund the total amount if they have not begun the class, or a pro-rated amount to reflect the number of sessions the participants has attended. If a class or workshop is cancelled by the Dairy Barn, participants may either request a refund, or have your payment credited to future events such as classes, workshops, or camps.
