One moment please...

09/22/23 - Apple harvest at McAuliffe Park

Date and time: 09/22/23 from 2-4:30 pm

Location: McAuliffe Park (10824 NE 116th St, Kirkland, WA 98034)

Join us for an apple harvest at McAuliffe Park in partnership with the City of Kirkland! McAuliffe Park is located on a historic farm site. You can see mature orchard trees, historic buildings, and farm equipment, some dating back to the late 1800s!

City Fruit will bring gloves and equipment for volunteers to use during the workparty, but folks are always welcome to bring their own! Come prepared for rain or shine with water and dressed in closed toed shoes and clothes you are comfortable getting potentially a little dirty!

City Fruit Volunteer Guidelines for COVID-19:

We are always excited to work with our volunteers, and it is through volunteer support that we are able to harvest from and steward our public fruit trees! If you know that you can no longer attend an event with us, letting us know as soon as possible by emailing Tiare at tiare@cityfruit.org helps us invite volunteers on the waitlist and, particularly with time sensitive or collaborative projects, helps us plan around staff and volunteer capacity and honor our time with community partners.
