Pierce County CARES Act

Child Care Provider Grant Application

Counties and cities across Washington received federal CARES Act dollars. Pierce County and the City of Tacoma have dedicated some of these dollars to relief grants for child care providers. Approximately $1.2 million is available to assist child care providers with resources necessary to offer safe, high quality care.

AGREE TO TERMS

Grant awardees agree to provide proof that the entire award amount has been spent. This shall include Expense Detail transactions, substantiating receipts, pay stubs or timesheets, invoices or other proof of incurred costs.

Providers in Tacoma: Expenses must occur between 7/1/2020 - 10/25/2020 and must not have been reimbursed by another agency (ex. DCYF grant). An expense summary and accompanying documentation is due to Child Care Resources no later than 10/25/20. Any amount that is not substantiated will need to be returned to CCR by 11/10/20.

Providers in Pierce County: Expenses must occur between 7/1/2020 - 11/25/2020 and must not have been reimbursed by another agency (ex. DCYF grant).
