On Process and Poetry

On Process and Poetry will situate process at the center of creation. In this writing workshop writers will have the opportunity to generate new poems, take part in discussions around craft, technique, starting new work, bringing old work back to life and to completion, and receiving feedback on their work. Writers will also have an opportunity to read their work each class and have the opportunity to read from a diverse packet of poems each week.

Instructor: Jason Harris is an educator, writer, and Watering Hole Fellow. He is the 2020-2021 Barbara Smith Writer-in-Residence. His first full-length collection of ecopoems is forthcoming from Twelve Arts Press. Jason's work has appeared in WildnessJournal, Winter TangerineFoundryJournal, The Bind, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, and more.

Details: On Process and Poetry with Jason Harris is a four-week course which takes place Sundays Sep 20-Oct 11 from 2-4pm remotely through Zoom. Register and we will send along information about how to connect via Zoom.
