2024 Evanston Plein Air Festival Artist Registration

Hello Artist!

We welcome you to register here for our 3rd Annual Evanston Plein Air Festival, scheduled for July 12-21, 2024!

You will receive confirmation of registration email upon completion of this registration. All fields with a red asterisk must be completed to submit.

After review of applications, you will receive an email if your submission is accepted and a summary of planned events and initial details of the festival week. You will receive a follow up email with details of the event, a map of key locations and all you need to make sure you are all set to join us. Final event updates will be sent out to all registered artists on July 1st, and can also be found on our website at evanstonmade.org

Event Basics:

  • Canvas/substrate stamping & check in must be completed at designated location. (Blick Evanston)
  • Paintings submitted for judging at any and all events must be painted on site in Evanston during event dates.
  • All paintings submitted for judging (Paint outs & Finale) will be sold through Evanston Made and will be subject to our 30% commission.
  • Artists may sell work from their easel throughout the event.
  • Artists who wish to have a table at the Grand Finale should include that charge when registering below.

Please give us an idea of how many events you expect to compete in during the week. No pressure, we'd just like an estimate.
For painters new to Plein Air who want to compete, but will be judged in a separate Amateur category for final Best of Show judging. This designation will not preclude you from entering pieces for judging during Paint Out events.
