Unbarred: Big Horn Basin Community Halls- August 24, 2024

This tour will open four community halls in the Big Horn Basin to the public to share their history, architecture, and role in community cohesion and celebration, as a small sample of the dozens of such halls in Wyoming. The tour starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Sage Creek Community Club east of Cody with coffee and donuts, and an introduction to community halls in Wyoming. It then proceeds to the Willwood Irrigation District & Clubhouse, the Greybull Rec Center & Community Hall, and the Shell Community Hall. Registrants will receive a map and tour guide before the day of the tour. The tour is free, but registration is required and attendance is limited to 35 people.
