Calling all kids! Families are invited to explore the beauty of the North Shore. Many animals and plants thrive in and around our local vernal ponds. Perhaps we’ll find egg masses of salamanders or frogs, see fairy shrimp moving around the pond by slowly beating their short legs, and we might find some frogs or other creatures. The walk will be easy and we’ll spend most of our time inspecting in and around a vernal pond.
