Since 1991, LitNet has been providing free, one-on-one instruction to speakers of other languages wishing to learn or improve their English skills as well as any adult seeking help with basic education, high school equivalency test preparation, or U.S. citizenship test preparation.

Donate books to LitNet tutor-learner pairs in your friend's or loved one's honor!

A favorite resource of many LitNet tutor-learner pairs are easy readers books from the Who HQ Books which includes the following series:

What Was?

What is the Story of?

These nonfiction series cover incredible stories of various trailblazers, pioneers, and legends, as well as important events. Easy to read, they provide rich content for tutors and adult learners to discuss while learning and improving their English language skills.

Choose from our pre-suggested packages below featuring Changemakers, Latin Women, or Wonders of the World or choose from our list of most popular individuals.

The books will be donated to LitNet for direct use by tutors and learners.
