Steiger is a worldwide missions organization that is called to reach and disciple the Global Youth Culture. The Global Youth Culture is made up of young people between the ages of 17-35, who are connected by globalization and often have negative ideas of who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. They believe the Church to be irrelevant to their day-to-day life - a dead, empty tradition of the past. This demographic represents one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. Steiger uses art, music, and other creative means to present Jesus in a clear and relevant way, and establishes a long-term presence in urban centers through ongoing outreach, discipleship, and local church partnership.

Steiger missionaries have varied gifting/serve in a variety of roles, including evangelism, discipleship, organization, administration, creative arts, speaking, event planning, graphic design, etc.

1. Based on your knowledge of the applicant’s gifting, calling, and personal history, do you support their desire to attend the Steiger Missions School?

2. What do you believe to be the applicant's motivation for applying to the school?

3. How would you describe the applicant's relationship with God? Do they understand the importance of spending time with Him and seeking His will for their life? Describe growth and development in this area that you have observed.

4. Is the applicant involved in the church? Have they developed relationships with people who believe in the call on their life and want to support them in it?

In what ways would your church be committed to supporting the applicant, both during this training and in future ministry?

5. How would you describe the maturity level of the applicant - spiritually, mentally and emotionally?

Have they worked through obstacles, disappointments, and experiences from the past that could, if not dealt with, hinder their ability to function successfully both now and the future?

6. Describe the applicant's attitude toward authority. Are they teachable and willing to receive correction when necessary?

7. Comment on the applicant's ability to get along with other people, their influence on others, their tolerance of people different from themselves, and their ability to handle conflict.

Do they look at people and circumstances positively or do they tend to be negative?

8. To your knowledge, has the applicant ever been the source of division or controversy in a church, ministry, or any other setting? If they have, please explain.

9. Describe the ability of the applicant to adapt to new environments, schedules, and change in general.

10. Describe their ability to cope with stress and pressure. Do they have healthy coping skills that they use when under pressure or are going through difficulties?

Are they spiritually, mentally, and emotionally stable even when circumstances are difficult?

11. What are the applicant's strengths? What spiritual gifts have you observed in them? Do they have a healthy view of themselves?

12. What are the applicant's areas of weakness and where they need growth? Are they willing to recognize these areas and work towards change?
