Hillel Summer Storage

For the first time ever, Rutgers Hillel is offering a limited number of secure and climate-controlled summer storage spaces!

Rutgers students enrolled for the 2024 Fall Semester may purchase storage space in our facility. We have a limited amount of spaces avaiable, and spaces will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Hillel will only accept payment in the form of a credit card.
Spaces will be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis upon completion of forms and payment.

Please note the following important dates and times:

Summer storage registration opens Wednesday, May 1st.
The storage space in our facility can be accessed for drop-off only on the following days and times only:
- Wednesday (5/1) – 12:00 PM-8:00 PM.
- Thursday (5/2) – 9:30 AM-8:00 PM.
- Friday (5/3) – 9:30 AM-5:00 PM.
- Monday (5/6) – 9:30 AM-8:00 PM.
- Tuesday (5/7) – 9:30 AM-8:00 PM.
Access may be available to the storage space throughout the summer; however, due to limited staffing and reduced summer hours, please email info@rutgershillel.org or call (732) 545-2407 at least two weeks in advance to arrange access.
Information about picking-up your belongings before the Fall Semester will be avaiable shortly, and will be sent via email. Until then, please be aware that any items left at Hillel after the set pick-up dates will be subject to disposal or donation.

Agreement & Terms

1. Only individuals who are enrolled as Rutgers University students for the 2024 Fall Semester, and are in good standing with the university, may utilize our storage facility.

2. Hillel assumes no responsibility for any lost, damaged, or stolen items in storage.

3. All items must be placed securely in sealed boxes, covered totes, or closed bags, and clearly marked with your full (first & last) name on at least 2 sides. Any container, of any kind, with your belongings must be able to fully close.

4. Any mattresses or box springs must be completely wrapped in plastic.

5. Any refrigerator or microwave must be completely emptied and cleaned thoroughly.

6. Please note, Hillel staff will not be assisting with the moving of items into or out of storage, and there will be no pick-up or delivery services provided by Hillel.

7. No foods of any kind, munitions/weapons, medications, drugs, alcohol, or flammable items may be stored at Hillel at any time.
