Description: There is more to Fund Raising that just asking for Money. Fundraising is also a strong form of social justice, ensuring funding is targeted to the true needs of survivors and the communities we serve. There are personal and professional cultures of money, and cultures of the people and institutions that donate to develop and navigate. This Presentation will provide an overview of the history of philanthropy, how fundraising IS social justice, how to explore your personal relationship with money. It will also cover the ROLES of the CEO/Executive Director, Development Director, and Board in Fundraising, and provide some tips and tricks for successful fundraising.
