Join us on Sunday, November 3rd from 12-5 PM for a pottery festival on the grounds of the Historic White Home!

We would love to have you join us for at our inaugural pottery festival at the White Home. 

Screening Process
In an effort to control and upgrade the quality of this show, Historic Rock Hill has implemented screening measures. Screening will apply to all art and craft vendors.
ALL vendors are asked to provide at least three color photos of your items and one of your display/set-up. Please follow these guidelines when relaying your photos to HRH.

- Images may be found on your website (please provide web address)
Our screening committee will review these images for acceptability. If questions arise, you may be requested to provide samples of your work. Decisions are at the discretion of our screening committee. No screening fee is charged.

Items for Sale

All vendors in the art and craft category will be screened for quality. Please leave a brief description of your sale items as well as photographs. Consideration may be given to items that are a combination of original and found items. Selection of vendor and/or craft items is based on quality and/or originality by a volunteer screening team. This event will draw shoppers looking for handcrafted, specially-made, or unique items. Thus, HRH reserves the right to refuse assignments to anyone offering commercially produced items. WE DO NOT ACCEPT applications for flea-market type items, business displays, or literature handouts. Inclusion is at the discretion of the screening committee. We do not accept re-sale/wholesale items! HRH will not accept independent consultants who represent direct sales companies or promotions for businesses or organizations. Applications that are declined will be notified in writing and any payment will be returned with notification.

RULES & REGULATIONS
Please read before completing your vendor application.

1. Receipt of vendor application does not guarantee participation. Spaces are not automatically reserved year to year. Applications must be submitted yearly.
2. Space requests are not guaranteed but every effort will be made to accommodate requests. THIS IS AN INDOOR/ OUTDOOR EVENT, and depends on the weather. 
3. All vendors in the pottery category will be screened for quality. Applications that are declined will be notified in writing. Payment will be returned with notification.
5. Vendors may not sublet to anyone not named on the application.
6. Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the vendor, as is any licensing or permits required by the city of Rock Hill, SC
7. For the pottery festival, handcrafted items are our preference, priority and the emphasis of this event. Consideration may be given to items that are a combination of original and found items. Selection of vendor and/or craft items is based on quality and/or originality by a volunteer screening team. This event will draw shoppers looking for handcrafted, specially-made or unique items. 8. No electricity or water is provided.
9. Vendors may exhibit or sell items only in the category for which they have applied.
10. Vendors may sell from the assigned space only. No solicitation is permitted.
11. Vendors selling items not included in photos submitted for screening may be asked to remove them from the sale area.
12. Vendors are discouraged from bringing pets to the event for liability reasons.
13. Weapons (including life-like toy replicas), fireworks and any items considered dangerous or inappropriate are strictly prohibited. Vendor will be asked to remove them.
14. All vehicles must be removed to parking areas as directed by 11:30 pm. Vendors arriving after 12:00 pm may be turned away. Spaces unoccupied by 12:30 pm may be filled at the discretion of event staff with no refund to the original vendor.
15. Vendors are responsible for the set-up, tear down, and cleanup of their space/area. All trash must be placed in the dumpster on site or removed from the property by the end of the show.
16. Vehicles are not permitted to park on Reid Street Park at any point during the fair.
17. Vendors must keep display up for the duration of the event. Tearing down before 5 pm is not permitted. Insurance restrictions prohibit vehicles from entering or leaving the event area until directed by event staff.
18. All display racks, tables, chairs, canopy, coverings, etc. are to be provided by the vendor. Tables must be attractively covered to the ground with all packing, boxes, etc. out of sight.
19. The $25 vendor fee is non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation. However, if the event is canceled for whatever reason, such as heavy rain, etc., your payment will then be considered a donation to HRH and a tax deduction letter will be issued.
20. Failure to appear or early withdrawal from the event could jeopardize future participation.
21. Failure to comply with any of these rules and regulations will jeopardize future participation.
22. By signing the vendor application, vendor agrees that he/she will comply with the Historic Rock Hill Art and Craft Fair rules & regulations found on this page. Noncompliance will result in removal from the event with no refund. By signing, the vendor further certifies that he/she is the responsible party identified on the application and that he/she is authorized to:
A. Execute on behalf of the group and
B. Accept legal process on behalf of the group
C. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Historic Rock Hill, its Board of Directors, staff members and volunteers of the Art and Craft Fair,
The aforementioned parties are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, theft, breakage or destruction that may arise or come to the participant, their employees, relations, friends or property from any cause, whatsoever, from this event. All public claims and liabilities levied against the participants are the sole responsibility of the participant.

If you do not accept the rules and regulations, you will not be approved as a vendor.
