Policy and Agreements

Please carefully review the required policies and agreements below.

I agree that I, and those in my party, are participating in Pasadena Audubon volunteering opportunities at my own risk, and acknowledge that Pasadena Audubon has made no warranty or representation, expressed or implied, regarding the safety of conducting the program. I expressly release and hold harmless Pasadena Audubon and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, successors and assigns from and for any and all claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury to person or to property suffered or incurred by me or those in my party in connection with volunteering opportunities or any aspect of it. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns.
I grant and convey to Pasadena Audubon Society (PAS) and its representatives, licensees and assignees, all of my rights, title, and interests in any and all photographs, images, videos, or audio recordings of myself and those in my party made by PAS, PAS volunteers, local media agencies or an observer of the activities, in connection with my participation in the PAS program activities. Photos may be used to promote the Pasadena Audubon programs through media, newsletters, websites, and social media.
Pasadena Audubon Society does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, national origin, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or any other legally protected characteristic in admission, treatment, or participation in its programs, services, and activities. Staff/Volunteer Code of Conduct

Pasadena Audubon Society requires that participants conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner to help maintain a fun and comfortable environment throughout the program/event.

The Code of Conduct is intended to help provide a positive experience for all and applies to the duration of any Pasadena Audubon Society event. All event participants, including staff, instructors, and volunteers, must read and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Failure to comply with the expectations and requirements outlined in this document will result in the immediate removal of the participant from the current Pasadena Audubon Society activity, program, or event. Furthermore, the participant may be prohibited from participating in any future Pasadena Audubon Society activities.
