President Quezon History Day will be held on Saturday, August 3 to celebrate the life and legacy of Filipino President Manuel Luis Quezon, who came to Saranac Lake for his health and died here on August 1, 1944. An opening ceremony will welcome dignitaries and special guests. A street fair will feature Filipino food, vendors and musical performances. A dance performance is planned for the Harrietstown Town Hall. The Hotel Saranac will serve Filipino-inspired cuisine and drinks throughout the weekend. View the
