2025 Conference Proposal Form

Thanks for your interest in presenting at the April 26-27, 2025 online North American Wildlife Tracker Conference. Please use the form below to submit a proposal and attach your written presentation description (abstract).
 
Submissions are due by January 15, 2025. We will notify presenters of acceptance in early February.
 
We are seeking 20-minute and 40-minute presentations that align with any of the following
themes:
  • Tracking applications and wildlife research: How you use track & sign and trailing skills to support wildlife research, conservation, or other applications.
  • Wildlife behavior and natural history findings: Have you encountered a novel behavior or expanded your understanding of a species’ life history through tracking? Share your findings.
  • Outreach and engagement tools for trackers: How do you share tracking with the world? (e.g. teaching techniques, starting a tracking club, publishing findings, hosting certifications)
  • Tracking instructional workshops: Beginner through Advanced topics on how to track, distinguishing track and sign, etc. (e.g., gait analysis, bird nest ID, amphibian tracks)

Presentation Description (Abstract)

We ask all presenters to submit a description (abstract) that will be included in our Conference Proceedings, published online following the conference. Please note that your description can be updated closer to the event (and right up to the time of publication) by contacting conference@trackercertification.com. There will also be an option to submit a more detailed description, up to a full paper, for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings.
